- Tell your Skogman sales representative that you want to purchase a new home contingent upon the guaranteed sale of your existing home. We then arrange for an independent appraiser to professionally appraise your current home and issue a Guaranteed Sale Price—typically about 90% to 95% of its appraised value.
- We list your home with Skogman Realty (or, in Cedar Falls/Waterloo, you may choose your own agent) and work to sell it for top dollar during the construction of your new home.
- If your home sells for more than the guaranteed price, you keep the difference.
- If your home does not sell before closing, Skogman Homes will purchase it from you at the Guaranteed Sale Price.
- We’ll coordinate possession dates to make your move as seamless as possible.
